 LoRa is low power LAN wireless standard, low power consumption is generally difficult to cover distance, remote general power consumption is high, the name of LoRa is remote radio (Long Range Radio), its biggest characteristic is in the same power conditions than other wireless transmission distance farther, realize the unity of low power consumption and distance, it under the same power consumption than the traditional radio frequency communication distance of 3-5 times.

 LoRa gateway is a gateway device for remote data transmission using LoRa wireless modulation technology. The LoRa gateway is located at the core of the LoRa star network, which is an information bridge between the terminal and the server, and is a multi-channel receiver. The LoRa gateway is sometimes called a LoRa base station or a LoRa concentrator. The definitions are different, but the meaning is the same.
