1. What is a ph sensor?

2. Operating principle of the ph sensor

The ph sensor operates based on the potential difference between the electrodes. When the ph sensor is placed in the water, a battery is formed between the water and the electrode. The special material on the electrode surface responds to the hydrogen ions in the water, producing the potential difference. The size of the potential difference depends on the concentration of hydrogen ions in the water, and the greater the potential difference, the higher the acidity of the water, and vice versa.

3. Application of the ph sensor

 The ph sensor are widely used in sewage treatment, tap water treatment, beverage production, aquaculture and other fields. In the sewage treatment, the pH sensor can be used to monitor the pH level of the sewage to adjust the pH value in the treatment process to achieve a better treatment effect. In tap water treatment, the pH sensor is used to monitor the pH of tap water to adjust the pH value of the water quality to meet the national standards. In aquaculture, the ph sensors can be used to monitor the pH of the water quality to adjust the pH value of the aquaculture water body and improve the aquaculture efficiency.
